A contract carriage whereby a single carrier undertakes transportation responsibility from the point where the shipment originates (usually the seller´s door) to a designated port on the buyer´s side. Unless the seller is physically located at a port, door-to-port transportation includes pre-carriage and main carriage, but does not include on-carriage.
