Juridical person

An individual or legal entity recognized under law as having legal rights and obligations. Corporations, and partnerships are examples of legal entities that are recognized as persons under the law. In countries that allow the formation of limited and unlimited companies, those companies are recognized as persons under the law. See also legal entity.
