Market access barriers that result from prohibitions, restrictions, conditions or specific requirements and make importing products difficult and/or costly. The term covers any restriction or quota, charge, or policy (other that traditional customs duties), domestic support programmes, discriminatory labelling and health standards, and exclusive business practices limit the access of imported goods. NOR Notice of readiness is a term used in vessel chartering to indicate that a ship has arrived and is ready for loading or unloading.
