Most of exporters and importers employ outside logistics expertise that are experts in their industry and should therefore concentrate only in operations of a specific sector (food and wine, automotive industry). On the other hand, third party logistics providers are experts solely at logistics, with the knowledge and means to perform efficient and innovative services for those companies in need. The goal is improved service at equal or lower cost. Relationships between providers of logistics services and its clients are governed through Logistics Services Contracts.
