Low context cultures

A type of culture in which managers and executives relay on spoken and written language for meaning. Senders of messages encode their messages, expecting that the receivers will accurately decode the words used to gain a good understanding of the intender message. Examples of low context cultures are countries such as China, Brazil or Saudi Arabia. See business culture; high context cultures. Business Culture Guides by Countries.
