Summary
Model of the type of contract to be used by companies located in different countries for the sale and purchasing of goods. The exporter (the “Vendor”) is obliged to deliver the stated products, and the importer (the “Buyer”) shall acquire them under the agreed conditions of payment, delivery and transaction schedule. The model is intended for the international sale of different types of products (raw materials, other materials, consumer goods, capital goods, etc). For the most important issues (products, prices, form and date of payment, place of delivery, etc), there are a number of alternatives of wording. The contract conforms to the principles established in the Vienna Convention of 1980 regarding the international sale of goods.
