The Commercial Agency Contract for Arab and Middle Eastern countries is used when a foreign company appoints a Commercial Agent for the promotion and sale of its products in an Arab country. The Agent's remuneration is determined by means of sales commissions, although, occasionally, certain expenses may be convened for travel or promotional activities. The contract is drawn up from the foreign company perspective, but taking into account the Arab States business practices and usages as well as the specificities of the mercantile legislation thereof.
